Inflect is a fast-growing public affairs and political communications agency with a specialist devolution offer, Devo@Inflect, which has been at the forefront of the ever-growing devolution agenda which we believe will be crucial to public affairs of the future.

We are focused on delivering positive change for our clients and for society, with a big ambition to grow. Our working culture is based on respect, trust and great communication. And everything we do flows from that.

What you will do

The role of an Account Executive is varied. Generally, tasks include:

  • Providing high-quality written work, such as reports, letters, briefing notes, blogs, press releases, and reports for our clients and team
  • Research for client projects and new business
  • Engaging and maintaining good relationships with clients, including face-to-face and virtual meetings
  • Monitoring developments and trends across UK politics, flagging this to team members and clients as appropriate.

  • Work with senior members of the team to help generate new business
  • Contributing to our set-piece conferences, including the Northern Transport Summit, the Northern Powerhouse Education, Employment and Skills Summit, the Best Practice Exchange and the Trade Association Forum Awards.

What we are looking for

The successful candidate will need to be a team player, have a good eye for detail, have exceptional written and verbal communication skills, and be adaptable under pressure.

A keen interest in UK politics is essential, with experience or knowledge of the devolution landscape highly desirable.

We are looking for someone with initiative and drive who can take responsibility for tasks and help us deliver high quality work for our clients.

Closing date: 5th February, though we may appoint before the deadline for exceptional candidates.
