Infrastrata is an ambitious fast growing business, driving innovation in shipbuilding and Infrastructure. Inflect Partners is working with the team to build their corporate communications function, support their in-house team and add capacity when needed.

We are working with them to grow a new type of infrastructure business, one that is focused on global demands of the future and where innovation and flexibility as well as performance excellence will drive growth.

There are some huge challenges and opportunities for their business in the Government’s infrastructure plan, from our commitment to net zero, and in new defence procurement projects.

In August 2020 we supported Infrastrata’s acquisition of Appledore Shipyard. We worked with the in-house team on all aspects of the communications, and maximised the impact of a visit from the Prime Minister.

We updated their messaging, built press lists from scratch, wrote and released targeting press releases, managed all interest and hit the front pages.

It was a great day, and a fantastic team effort and we were pleased to be able to play a role in delivering some brilliant coverage, and feedback from their board and investors.

The Prime Minister has since been a avid champion for a ‘new era of British Shipbuilding’
